I agree with the author’s premise in this essay because he is showing that a person should take a few steps back if a problem is found to be difficult and not give up. A person should move foward, continue its path slowly and not be impacient. Obstacles and a wrong turn may be in the way, however one can do it with perseverance and concentration. One’s goal can be reached and at the end the solution will be found. So, to accomplish something big, a goal, a dream, one should break it down first, take a few steps back and move foward slowly because unexpectedly the solution to one’s problem will be solved.

I agree with the author that things in life will not come easy to you but you just have to keep trying hard. We all need to learn that we not going to get thing fast but we to just keep trying. This made me think of how we go through obstacles in everyday life and we just need to take a step back and rethink the problem again. In addition it made me noticed that its almost like were in a human maze and were all stuck inside an we can’t come out until we rethink it.

I feel like this is in a motivation piece because he admitted that yes he struggled but like said in the piece “Like a difficult text or sometimes like life itself, the Rubik’s Cube can be a frustrating puzzle. So I carry a cube in my backpack as a reminder that I can attain my goals, no matter what obstacles I face.” this states that even if things are difficult remind yourself of a time you went through something and you reached your goal and that it could motivate you that you can face problem or difficulties that come your way . this make me thing as well helped me with my essay

I feel that this article is a motivational piece because it’s telling others that even though you may have trouble doing certain things you should never give up, it’s telling you that you should try your best in accomishing any obstacle that gets in your way. Everything isn’t easy many believe that sometimes you have to look deeper and in unexpected places to find answers. Just because one had a disorder or finds something challenging doesn’t mean they have to give up, they would try there best until that challenge isn’t a challenge anymore.

The author had a point that you can never give up in life. You must try no matter what and if you really want to accomplish something, then keep doing what you need to do until you reach your true potential. In life, there would always be obstacles to take on and you would have to figure them out in order to make them work well as you wish. In the story, “William got a challenge and it’s the Rubik’s Cube that he carried in his backpack. He got strategies up his sleeves that would make him figure out the cube and they were to look for the patterns, reading it’s color like it have words, symbols, and letters when making a lot of good movements, communicating his ideas, and expressing his intelligence. The Rubik’s cube taught him that to accomplish something big, it helps to break it down into small pieces.” It’s like you solving a math problem and figuring out the messages of what the stories be telling you. You are using your critical thinking skills to get to where you stand in a level of education, which is your grades for each class. Motivation and rigorous are key and they would lead you to success in life. Also, once you are heading to a brilliant future, you would have an amazing career when graduating from an excellent university with all the hardwork you put through your life.

William Wissemann made me react in a way that made me sit and think about life. Life is not perfect for many. There are things you can be born with that can affect you in the future. But the person William was made him accomplish big things in smaller pieces. William showed me that sometimes taking a step back can bring you forward and that just because you have a disability does not mean you can’t succeed. Solving the Rubik’s Cube is an example of this. This article can inspire one to go and try to achieve things even if they have a disability. It’s all about having the courage to attain big things in smaller pieces.

This story/essay gave me a very impression reaction. He showed me how things can be so hard for someone and one can still manage to work it out and do good. And he really inspired me to never give up when im struggling because things will always work out. He was born with something that is going to affect him his entire life but he would find a way to figure it out no matter how hard it is. That something that most people need to learn because people are very quick to give up on any little thing they find hard.

I agree with the author because in life people need to take things slow and actually think , people tend to react fast and get mad easily, but with a little patience people can break things down and learn how to solve it. This story explains to me that with time anything can be fixed , if a person really wants to fix the problem they will take their time to really figure it out.

This essay gave can be used as an inspiration to attain a goal although it is challenging. William Wissemann does suffer through a dyslexia however, through it he has learned lesson that can help him through everyday life. The Rubik’s cube is basically his challenge, and represents society. By others having difficulty, and quitting he tries harder, and succeeds in completing it. Society views dyslexia as a mental disorder however, if there were more people like William their is hope. He has Learned how to break difficult task in simple equations. That’s goes to prove no matter your differences you can still strive through.

As a part of life there are going to be many challenges put into the path of life. However, one must overcome those challenges to move forward in life and accomplish our goals. In addition. life may seem a little bit more complicated for others. After reading the essay of William Wissemann, I was able to understand that to be able to accomplish something big one must break it into smaller pieces and work it through just like a Rubik’s Cube. Growing up with a disability such as dyslexia, William was able to overcome those challenges and move forward in life. One should never give up. An individual should attain their goals no matter the situation they are in or how hard things may get, at the end of the day things will be alright and something great will arrive in the path of life.

It’s true what he is saying when you need to accomplish something big it’s not always good to just go at it with out breaking it down . It’s true you can always do something you just need to try and have the right mind set that you are going to do it and your going to get to the top and what ever you are doing it will be solved. Sometimes in life you just have to grab the big problems and break them down , there not that hard as they seem. Just break it down and it will be accomplished .

Reading this my reactiong is that everyone has their struggles in school or in life. But giving on your self shouldn’t be the answer but instead try on looking deeper than you expected. You can accomplish your goal or something if you put your mind onto it. You find it difficult? Then juat take a few step back, don’t over think it.

The story “accomplishing big things in small places” by William wisserman gave me multiple reactions. Solving a Rubik’s cubes Is impressive because in order to solve a Rubik’s cube a person needs to have a lot of mental strength. That puzzle is personally really hard for me because the times that I have tried to solve one I always fail. Besides be difficulty of the Rubik’s cube there is still more towards it. A vibe teaches you not to quit and also that in order to be successful you are going to have some difficulties. It also teaches you that life gives us some puzzles that are mandatory to pass. I also learned that solving Rubik’s cubes impresses girls, that’s something I totally did not know.

This was really an interesting essay and it has given me an idea of what my essay should look like. I was really amazed how William wasn’t able to read or write for quite some time yet he was able to become a master for the Rubik’s Cube in 4 weeks. This essay really proves that if you have belief in your self and you keep pushing even if you don’t think you’ll reach your goals at the end you end up doing so.

William Wissenmenn’s story about how he was able to over come dyslexia by solving the rubik cube was intertaining to read because he was able to explain his life and the way he learned bycomparing it to something he enjoyed doing like solving the rubik cube for people who asked him to. What I took away from this story is that sometimes things seems difficult to achieve but if you try and push your self hard enough you can surprise yourself such as William did in sloving the cube in only four weeks. One of my favorite lines from his story was ” sometimes you have to take a couple steps backwards to move foward”.

The story ” Accomplishing Big things in Small Pieces” is really an inspiring story. It proves to us, that if you really want to accomplish something in life, working hard can get you there. In the article, it states ” I can attain my goals, no matter how many obstacles I face” meaning just because he has dyslexia he won’t let that come in between him reaching his goals. At first it nothing made sense to him, learning to read, words were scrambled and out of sequence, didn’t know where to begin just like the Rubik’s Cube. The Rubik’s cube made him realized to accomplished big things, you must break it down to smaller parts. “Sometimes in order to move forward, you must take two steps back”

In this piece I’ve realized that the writer, William, refered a lot to the runic cube in his story. Referring to this, gave a better understanding of his feelings, like when he talks about people trying to solve it and not really knowing where to start. My reaction after reading this was to take a few steps back if I don’t see a solution to the a puzzle, and to think more when I’m trying something that is difficult at the time. Williams story inspires me to use something that motivates me just like he used his rubix cube.

The author is 100% correct! No matter how big the dilemma may be one should try their best. It may seems like it’s impossible, but everything is possible. The statement that the author stated about sometimes we have to step back in order to move forward really impacted my life. This quote is true because sometimes we’re so worried and frustrated to get over something but what the solution is, is to step back, take a breath and try again.

What I obtained from reading William Wassermans essay, “Accomplishing Big Things in Small Places” was optimism. One will face several challenge throughout their lives what distinguishes each individual is the way they target the challenge. William was faced with dyslexia which makes it extremely had to comprehend letter and numbers, as he mentioned. With a great challenge ahead of him at such an early age William found a way to face this challenge, he was able to compare his dyslexia to his rubix cube. It’s truly amazing this kid struggles recognizing numbers and letters yet is among small percentage of people that can solve a 5x5x5 rubix cube. The fact that he was able to make a connection to help him in another area is genius. People will struggle doing some things other things will come naturally, but with hard work and dedication that thing you once struggled at will come naturally.

After reading the passage “Accomplishing Big Things In Small Pieces” , the thought of “Your disability is your opportunity”-Kurt Hahn , comes to mind. This quote relates to the author of the article. William’s disability dyslexia, actually had it’s perks. His disability made him frustrated to where he couldn’t focus on reading because words were scrambled everywhere. Having this disability, he was opened to the Rubik’s cube. This cube taught him that to accomplish something big, you have to break it down into small pieces. Though people may grow up with a certain disability, it shouldn’t be a downfall to their life. I believe ones disability has it’s advantages. Everything is possible, you just have to try.
